Happy birthday to writer/artist Jim Steranko (born Nov. 5, 1938)! From Heavy Metal Aug. 1981, the movie adaptation "Outland"; adaptation and art by Jim Steranko. (Because the story was told mostly in double-page spreads, I couldn't fit the entire image of each panel on my scanner, and as you can see, the images are "broken" by the magazine's fold...sorry I couldn't provide complete, "uninterrupted" panels.)
