Playboy May 1977: Remembering Bill Hoest's Birthday
Today would be the 93rd birthday of cartoonist Bill Hoest (born Feb. 7, 1926), best known as the creator of the long-running comic strip The Lockhorns. In addition to his newspaper cartoons, Hoest was also an occasional contributor to Playboy. Here's one of Hoest's Playboy cartoons, from the May 1977 issue.
