Penthouse Max #1, "Prologue: Where Monsters Swell": Paris Cullins

Last week, I wrapped up my posts from Penthouse Comix #14 (August 1996); before moving on to #15, I'm making a side journey to the next chronological title in the Penthouse Comix line: The first issue of Penthouse Max (Sept. 1996), the short-lived replacement for Penthouse Men's Adventure Comix. This issue featured a single storyline in several chapters by different artists, starting with this one: "Prologue: Where Monsters Swell"; story by Keith Giffen, art by Paris Cullins & George Freeman.
