Today would be the 99th birthday of artist Matt Baker (born Dec. 10, 1921). Presenting a self-portrait of Baker at his drawing table with "dream girls," from a letter that Baker wrote to a friend in 1944, which I found posted in a Facebook group for Golden Age Comics fans.
