Today would be the 112th birthday of writer/artist Al Capp (born Sept. 28, 1909). I'm not sure of the original source of this panel (probably from a magazine article about Capp): An autobiographical strip depicting Capp's youth as a struggling art student in a life-modeling class; story and art by Al Capp.
