From D'Arc Tangent #1; story and art by Phil Foglio & Connor "Freff" Cochran. (It's unclear how exactly the collaboration was divided between the two artists; judging solely by the art Foglio & Freff co-wrote the story, Foglio penciled some pages and Freff penciled others, and Freff inked the book. I can still see a bit of Foglio's early style underneath the inks in these particular panels.)
