It was announced yesterday that comics artist Jason Pearson passed away in December at the far too young age of 52. Presenting a sketch from the beginning of his career, a 1991 convention sketch of Rogue (penciled by Pearson, inked by Mike Witherby) that I found posted on the Comic Art Fans website.
