Happy birthday to writer/artist Gilbert Hernandez (born Feb. 1, 1957)! From Birdland #1, the Eros Comix mini-series that introduced the Martinez sisters Fritzi and Petra, who would later become major characters in Hernandez' Love and Rockets mythos.
