Playboy Funnies Jan. 1979: Happy Birthday, Art Spiegelman!
Happy birthday to Pulitzer Prize-winning writer/artist Art Spiegelman (born Feb. 15, 1948)! In the 1970s, Spiegelman was one of many underground comics artists who contributed to the "Playboy Funnies" feature in Playboy magazine. From the Jan. 1979 issue of Playboy, "Shaggy Dog Story."
